The younger generations of athletes seem to be getting more talented by the year, especially in hockey.
So much emphasis is put on skill development and skating these days, which is partially why you’re seeing such an influx of young talent contribute at the NHL right away.
Although this little guy still has a few more years in front of him with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers before the game really starts to ramp up, it doesn’t hurt to experiment with some dirty moves, no matter the age.
This little guy perfected the Marek Malik move by putting his stick through his legs before sliding the puck into the net in a ridiculous fashion.
That’s pretty impressive given the age of the youngster. What’s even more impressive is his post-goal celly, as the little man jumps and down on the ice and heads right over to celebrate with his teammates, who probably just witnessed that move for the first time and were likely in shock.
Pretty cool and cute to see. You just got one-upped, Marek.
