The Anaheim Ducks have the privilege of forever being connected to the Mighty Ducks movies and one of the most memorable things to come from them was one of their winning strategies.

The Anaheim Ducks added a new face to their lineup not long ago by making a deal with the New Jersey Devils, but it wasn’t until last night that Adam Henrique officially became a duck. That’s because last night after a big win in Boston, the players came around to thank their goalie and leading them out of the huddle was Henrique in a familiar formation.

The Flying V.

Henrique might as well change his name to Adam Banks at this point. He’s the new comer to the team, he’s leading Flying V’s. The NHL should make an exception to allow him to wear number 99.

The Ducks are currently out of a playoff spot, so they’ll need a couple more Flying Vs if they want to have a true Mighty Ducks story.
