Being a sports fan is tough, especially when you’re a fan of a team that you don’t live near and this young fan from Saskatchewan showed exactly why.
If you ever want to see your favourite players play, it’s an absolute trek. Tickets have already become expensive enough, and it really starts to multiply when you have to pay for hotels, travel and everything else associated with a trip. Then, of course, there is always the risk that your favourite players don’t play…
For example, sometimes you can drive five hours, only for Connor McDavid to get scratched 30 minutes before game time.
Luckily, they were successful as Reid and Charlee ended up with some free Oilers gear and it appears as if Dany Heatley All-Star wants to get them some more tickets.
Maybe that was actually lucky that they had that sign. Without it, no one would have even known that they came all that way and their disappointment would have gone unnoticed. Hopefully Connor McDavid was feeling better than Artemi Panarin.
