Erik Karlsson played his last game with the Ottawa Senators on April 2nd, 2018. You may remember Karlsson grabbing the puck at the end of the game, which led many to believe he had in fact played his final game with the Senators organization.

Fast forward to the middle of September and Karlsson is now property of the San Jose Sharks.

The Senators played their second game of the pre-season on Tuesday night where they were defeated 4-1 for the second night in a row.

The game was broadcasted on TSN4 and TSN5 for the first pre-season Sens and Leafs game this season on the TSN Network.

During the broadcast, an eerie stat graphic was made where it should some very interesting numbers numbers from Karlsson’s final game in a Sens uniform.

Now that’s pretty spooky.

Karlsson, meanwhile, was officially introduced to the city of San Jose and its media members on Wednesday afternoon alongside head coach Peter DeBoer and general manager Doug Wilson.
