It’s too bad we only saw Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady play two seasons with the Toronto Raptors together because they would have done some ridiculous things together during their career.
In 1999, Carter and McGrady went head-to-head in their own dunk contest during the preseason and they did not disappoint as they were already in midseason form.
The fans cheering on in excitement didn’t know it at the time, but they were really getting an early preview of one of the greatest moments in Raptors franchise history as the following year Vince Carter made a wave across the league with his performance in the Slam Dunk Contest.
