It's January 31st, and normally that wouldn't be a big day in the CFL as free agency is still more than a week away, but it's a very big day for one player, Johnny Manziel.
Earlier this month, Manziel's agent released a statement saying that Hamilton had until January 31st to work out a deal to make Johnny their quarterback.
Today just so happens to be the 31st, so all eyes will be on the Ticats, especially after what their head coach tweeted out on Sunday.
June Jones pretty much confirmed a decision on Manziel is going to be made this week, and Wednesday the 31st seems like the perfect day for that decision to be made based on the deadline Johnny's agent shared with the world.
Whether a decision is actually made remains to be seen, but you can bet football fans are excited about the prospect of an announcement happening soon.
