When most of us think of Tom Brady, we think of his cannon of an arm.

Honestly, he has to have that dime insured at this rate.

Though what most of us probably don’t think of is his catching abilities. We’ve been able to see Tom dominate the NFL for 20 years, but what if we told you Tom himself had the opportunity to break into major league baseball?

Yeah, you heard that right.

Tom Brady was drafted in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft as the 507th pick.

But by which team you may ask?

Well if you’re looking for a cool little Canadian moment, here you have it because Brady was selected by the Montreal Expos.

Brady was an excellent catcher in high school, but he decided to follow his true love of football and attended the University of Michigan to chase his quarterback dreams.

We’re pretty sure it’s obvious that those plans worked out just perfectly for Tom as he heads to his 10th Super Bowl in just under two weeks, breaking the all-time record for most Bowl appearances for a quarterback.

Here’s a video of a young Tom Brady up at-bat, going with the 21 jersey, reversing his classic number 12 he’s worn throughout his NFL career.

And since Tom is known for breaking records, we thought we’d toss in one more for you.
