The NFL offseason is always exciting as large amounts of money are thrown around and familiar faces end up in new places.

Tony Romo, however, isn't one of those familiar faces that's ended up in a new place just yet.

Romo, who many expect to either be cut or traded by the Cowboys, had a difficult season as he was injured and forced to be the backup to Dak Prescott.

In the last week of the season, however, Romo did get on the field as he played one drive for the Cowboys against the Eagles, going 3-4 with a touchdown pass.

Obviously the drive didn't mean much to anyone in the grand scheme of things, even when you consider the bonus that he got for the drive, which according to NFL Network's Dan Hanzuz was $64.11.

The league's performance-based pay system is to thank for the bonus, which is laughable for all sorts of reasons.

On the plus side, though, Romo's cap hit in 2016, according to Spotrac, was $20.835 million, so there's that.
