Three Canadian teams made it into the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2023. Two teams remain.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers each managed to secure Game 6 victories to secure their respective series.

For the Toronto Maple Leafs, it was a monkey-off-the-back moment as they advanced past the 1st round for the first time since 2004. The calloused fan base showed every bit of their relief when John Tavares spun around and scored the most important Leafs goal in nearly two decades.

The streets of Toronto were on FIRE.

Not to be outdone, the Oilers fan base also celly'd hard just a few hours later. The Oilers secured a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Kings to advance into a second round matchup vs. the Vegas Golden Knights.

Similar to Toronto, the streets of Edmonton were alive with Oilers fandom. As was Rogers Place. As was... the casino?

While fans are likely still feeling the after effects of celebration Saturday, it's back to work for the Leafs and Oilers. After all, they're hoping to give their fans even larger to celebrate!
