It was a big weekend for a number of NFL draftees, who were officially ushered in as football’s next generation. That includes one Dre Greenlaw, who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers with a fifth-round pick.
From the sounds of it, Greenlaw deserves every good thing that may be heading his way. Shortly after he was drafted, a man took to Twitter with a touching story of how Greenlaw saved his daughter from sexual assault while he was playing his college football at Arkansas.
There are a lot of shady dudes out there, and a lot of other shady dudes who wouldn’t act as shady things went down in front of them — especially when it would’ve come at personal risk to their position on the football team. To his credit, Dre Greenlaw wasn't just going to be another bystander.
As this story made the rounds online, Greenlaw responded on Twitter, including with a message for Dales.
