Often times when a defensive back drops an interception, you hear the excuse “that’s why they’re on defence”. You never hear the other side of it, like “maybe they should be on offence”. While we know there’s more to it than that, an interception like LJ McCray’s on Saturday night makes you wonder what he could do with more opportunity.

With less than 6 minutes to go in the game and the Saskatchewan Roughriders hoping to hold onto their one-possession lead (14-6), the Winnipeg Blue Bombers were charging down the field. Trying to submit a bid for the tie game, Chris Streveler took a shot downfield looking for Nic Demski. It looked like a decent throw, but it was just a little too short.

Cue the highlight reel.

That was just about it for the Bombers, as they finished the game with the same 6 points they had before this beauty pick. While you would think this would be the greatest one-handed catch of the night, it actually may not be…

A superb one-handed catch from Bryan Burnham!

Admittedly, this one has been widely disputed as the CFL world debates whether his foot was still on the ground when he got possession. We’re just going to respect the play anyway though. If you don't like that one, here's another from Burnham.
