The natural reaction to those who watched J.R. Smith's blunder in Game 1 of the NBA Finals was laughter.

LeBron James yelling at Smith is now one of the most iconic pictures in history for all the wrong reasons.  It's been used a meme so many times already and will continue to be used as a meme until the end of time at this rate.

That said, we can't help but feel bad for J.R. and this previously unseen footage of the Cavs' bench after the mishap and leading up to overtime might make you feel sympathetic towards Smith, too.

It will also add more heartbreak to the loss if your a Cavs' fan seeing LeBron's reaction to his head coach telling him they had a timeout.

LeBron's reaction to finding out the Cavs did have a timeout (which Tyronn Lue didn't use) or confirming was basically every Cavaliers fan in that moment.

It's also interesting to note that James didn't say a word to Smith during that break which felt like an eternity.  Basically this unseen footage just adds to the heartbreak and it was always going to be tough to bounce back from that in Game 2.
