It’s only a matter of time until Toronto Blue Jays fans will be cheering on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at the Major League level.
The 19-year-old is currently playing with the team’s Double-A affiliate, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, and he’s been on an absolute tear all season long. Guerrero entered the first game of Sunday’s double-header against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies with seven home runs and 41 RBI in 36 games and you can bet he added to those totals.
Guerrero stepped up to the plate in the bottom half of the inning with a chance to win the game and he made no mistake as he crushed his 8th home run of the season out of the park in a hurry.
With two runners on base and the game-winning run up a bat, the Blue Jays’ top prospect sent the ball out of the park in a hurry to give his team the win and his 44th RBI in 38 games.
