Wayne Rooney was the latest big-name player to take his talents to the MLS and he made an immediate impact in his first game with an assist off the bench.
Saturday night, Rooney entered his 4th game in the MLS without a goal yet, but it didn't take long for him to change that against Colorado.
A superb finish from Rooney to beat Tim Howard netted him his first-career MLS goal and luckily for Colorado, that's the only one he scored despite having numerous chances.
DC United would need someone else to step up, though, and someone did late to give them the win. (H/T: MLS)
