For the last few seasons, Evgeny Kuznetsov has incensed his opponents’ fan base whenever he does his signature bird celebration.

Inspired by the FIFA video game series, and more specifically, Ronaldo, Kuznetsov’s dance has ever made its way into the EA’s NHL video game series.

Kuznetsov had all the reason in the world to celebrate out on the ice last season, posting a career-high of 27 goals and in points with 83 in 79 games, before adding another 32 points in 24 games on route to the Capitals’ first Stanley Cup in franchise history.

With his increased goal scoring ability, Kuzy, regarded as one of the top playmakers in the game, is making sure his off-season workouts are properly tailored for when he threads the mesh. Working with Russian trainer Sergey Kholodov, the 26-year-old might just have a new celebration to add to his repertoire in what will be his fifth full season in the league.

Now, imagine him doing that in his full hockey gear. We should point out that this is just Kuznetsov working on his explosiveness with a resistance band for all you serious Sam’s out there. Regardless, it would be hilarious to see Kuznetsov jump into the air like that after scoring a goal.

With the hockey season just around the corner, the Caps are done partying and are gearing up to defend their Stanley Cup while doing it in style.
