College football is back, and Texas Tech receiver T.J. Vasher is wasting no time in leaving his impression. This is not only an OBJ-esque catch, but if you pause it at the right time, you can spot Vasher bending all the way back and recreating the Jumpman logo while trying to reel this thing in.
What we’re trying to say is, this catch is nasty.
Early catch of the year? Texas Tech was thoroughly beat up by Ole Miss, losing 47-27, but it’s only Week 1. There’s no reason to talk standings yet, but dope catches? We can talk those all year, and we might be talking about this one specifically for a good while.
Remember, Juwan Brescacin of the Calgary Stampeders got the CFL season started with this incredible one-handed catch in Week 1, and to this day there hasn’t really been a catch to challenge it.
