Saturday night was the Battle for Vegas where professional athletes in the city split up into two teams and play a fun game of softball for charity. Raiders running back Marcus Allen captained one team, while Knights forward Reilly Smith led the other.
Former Knight defenceman Nate Schmidt came back to play with his former teammates and had a highlight worthy play of the night.
While it was all fun and games, the Canucks defenceman robbed the raiders with the most insane catch! He dove over the fence and somehow caught what should have been a home run.
Nate Schmidt is a thief!
Maybe he should’ve been an outfielder?
