With the Raptors on the cusp of history, their first ever NBA championship, the fan response has been nothing short of incredible.

By Saturday morning, about two and a half days before Monday’s Game 5, there were already a few fans setting up camp for the weekend in the line to get into Jurassic Park. Even more have gathered by Sunday, and it’s becoming clear that there will be a number of Raptors fans making the stay overnight just to be able to share in this moment of history with the team.

One fan has even been in line since the end of Game 4 on Friday — he left Jurassic Park with about eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter, in order to set up camp for the Game 5 line. That’s unreal dedication. We spoke to this fan, and others, on their dedication to the team.

Where will you watch Game 5 of the #NBAFinals?

It seems surreal to give up a weekend of your time to stay in line, but think about it, when will a moment as special as Canada’s first ever NBA championship roll around? The turnout for Game 5 is going to be something special, and judging from these fans who are literally planning an overnight stay in the line for Jurassic Park, it already is.
