Vancouver Canucks' Henrik Sedin is approaching a pretty huge milestone in his NHL career. The veteran centre notched his 999th career NHL point in the Canucks' win on Tuesday night against the Nashville Predators, which means his next point will be the coveted 1000th.

During media on Thursday, Sedin was asked whether or not family would be in attendance in Vancouver for what could potentially be the game he reaches 1000 on Friday night against the Florida Panthers, and his response couldn't have been more typical and funny of the Sedin brothers.

TSN 1040's Jeff Paterson had the quote:

We don't know if Sedin was being intentionally cheeky when responding to the question, but we're going to give him full points for the joke. It sure is nice of Daniel to travel all that way for the potential historic night for his brother.
