Playing in the Super Bowl is one of the greatest accomplishments a football player can achieve, and it’s an accomplishment Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots has become very familiar with.

The hulking tight end has been to the big game a few times before as a key member of the Patriots’ dynasty. He has two Super Bowl rings as a Patriot, and found himself in the Super Bowl spotlight once again this year. Unfortunately, the highly publicized event clearly indicated that Gronk would be nowhere near his Massachusetts home.

According to CBS Boston, authorities have confirmed that Gronkowski was the victim of a burglary during Sunday night’s Super Bowl. The police were called to Gronk’s property shortly after the Pats returned from their Super Bowl Loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

While the break in has been confirmed, it has not been disclosed what exactly was taken. Due to investigative reasons, it likely won’t be disclosed anytime soon.

Hopefully his two Super Bowl rings weren’t taken, missing out on one this year is probably tough enough.
