Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Andrew Wiggins was born in Toronto, and raised in the Thornhill, Ontario. Being born and raised in Canada, one would guess he had been to a hockey game before. But if a person assumed he had been to a hockey game, they would be wrong... until Wednesday night in Toronto.
Wiggins took to Instagram on Wednesday to let his followers know it was his first ever NHL hockey game, as his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Washington Capitals in Game 4:
Unfortunately for Wiggins, the home team fell 5-4 in the game, but we hope the basketball star had fun anyways.
Maybe McDavid could give him some tips and he could get out on the ice?
