This past Sunday, Winnipeg ended its 29-year Grey Cup drought with a dominant win over Hamilton and the win was definitely a long time coming for a city craving a championship.

There were no lucky bounces needed on the field, but before the game, there was a lucky pin placed in one of the goalpost pads by a Winnipeg fan.

The Grey Cup pin from 1990 placed in the goalpost padding by Ron was then returned to him once the drought had officially been ended!

You've heard of the lucky loonie, but now we can add lucky Grey Cup pin to that same lore book.
