Here’s a strange statistic: Iran didn’t muster a single shot in the second half of their World Cup game against Morocco. This, though, didn’t stop them from getting on the board to win 1-0 in stoppage time.

Unfortunately for Moroccan striker Aziz Bouhaddouz, he had the only score of the game in an own-goal while attempting to block a shot.

You can bet that the Iranian team was excited, as this is only their second win in World Cup history. A win is a win, no matter how it comes. For Morocco, however, it isn’t the best look in their first World Cup game since 1998.

World Cup watchers had plenty to say about the ditzy play.
