Alright, so it wasn’t news to us that you have to be absolutely filthy rich to own a football team.
You can’t purchase such massive entities with chump change, but we didn’t have a clue as to the magnitude of just HOW rich these people actually are.
That is, until now.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones just made the most absolutely obscene purchase we’ve ever seen before.
He just bought a $250 MILLION dollar yacht.
The superyacht, made by Ocean Co Yacht is named the Bravo Eugenia and is 109 metres, or 357 feet long.
For reference, that’s about two football fields and change long.
Another dizzying fact about this purchase? This yacht cost Jones $110 million more than the Cowboys, who he purchased for $140 million in 1989, did.
That is some serious cash, but it sounds like this otherworldly yacht is well worth it. The ship boasts a garage for smaller boats and jet-skis, a beach club at the back, a full gym, and not one, but two helipads.
This purchase is crazy, but it makes the awful haircut that Jones was rocking last season?
Seriously. What was that.
