It's strange to look at the NHL standings and see the Chicago Blackhawks not just at the bottom of the Western Conference, but in last place in the NHL.  As it stands right now, Chicago has 23 points and just 9 wins in 32 games this season.

The Blackhawks are in danger of missing the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since they missed the postseason 5 years in a row from the 2002/03 season to the 2007/08 season.

Tuesday night, Chicago dropped its 8th-straight game and an alarming stat made the rounds on the internet that truly showcases just how bad they've been this season.

Since November 18th, which was a 3-1 win against the Wild, Chicago has just one victory in 11 games and they've LED since that day for less than a minute. It doesn't get much worse than that (but it does if you go back and look at the stats because apparently it's 41 seconds, not 45).
The good thing is it can't get much worse for the Hawks, and if it does, then they could be selecting Jack Hughes in the next draft, so it's not all bad news.
