The 2020 NBA bubble in Orlando was like a dream, it doesn't even feel real. Not only was it our first NBA experience with no fans in attendance, but the NBA players being forced to quarantine in hotels led to some hilarious cabin fever content.
The bubble was a nuanced experience that NBA players hope to never happen again, but we may be able to look back on some of the moments and romanticize about just how novel the bubble memories are.
Disappointingly, that will not include the hilarious rumour that New Orleans Pelicans executive David Griffin attempted to bond with Zion Williamson by way of his piano playing. Amid rumours of a strained relationship between Griffin and Zion, there were way funnier rumours that Griffin had taken his keyboard to Zion’s hotel room in an attempt to grow closer to the superstar.
Zion hilariously shot down our hopes and dreams with one comical answer during Pels’ media day.
Well, dang it Zion. Just let us believe!
