Last week, a kitten appeared on the field in the middle of a game between the Kansas City Royals and the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium and ended up winning over the hearts of all the fans as it ended up being a game changer for the Cardinals.
After the cat was removed from the field, Yadier Molina smoked a grand slam to give the Cardinals the lead late in the game and the eventual victory, and now everyone in St. Louis is in love with the rally cat.
The Cardinals went on a lengthy win streak after their rally cat inspired victory and have been one of the hottest teams in the league ever since, so the team has decided to honour the rally cat with its own theme night next month.
This past weekend, the team announced that they will host a Rally Cat Night on September 10 when they host the Pittsburgh Pirates and fans who purchase a special ticket to the game will receive their own exclusive rally cat T-shirt.
Itβs going to be a month full of giveaways for Cardinals fans as the Rally Cat Appreciation Night is just one of 10 theme nights the Cardinals have planned for September.
