A couple of months ago, the Arizona Coyotes signed 21-year-old University of Minnesota-Duluth goalie Hunter Miska to an entry level contract.

Last week, Miska was on the ice with the rest of the Coyotes prospects at the team’s development camp and he showed up dressed to impress with a fantastic Coyotes-themed mask.

It turns out Hunter’s father is Todd Miska, the man responsible for some of the most iconic goalie masks in NHL history.

The duo worked together on designing the Coyotes-themed mask for Hunter, but once they decided on a design it was Todd who put in the work.

Located out of Stacy, Minnesota, Todd has designed masks for NHL goalies such as Ed Belfour, Evgeni Nabokov, Miikka Kiprusoff and Manny Fernandez, to name a few, through Miska Designs.

Miska will most likely spend the season in the AHL with the Tucson Roadrunners, but anything is possible.
