From their social media team to their undefeated start to the season, the Vegas Golden Knights continue to be the talk of the NHL.

On Friday, the Golden Knights looked to make it four straight wins as they welcomed the Detroit Red Wings to town and their social media team got the night started with some more classic lineup tweets.

Rather than sharing the Red Wings’ actual lineup for the game, the Golden Knights’ social media team thought it would be funny to tweet out the team’s lineup from the 2001-02 season, the year they captured the Stanley Cup by beating the Carolina Hurricanes in five games.

Less than a minute after sharing the wrong lineup, they made sure to share out the actual Red Wings lineup.

Since the New Jersey Devils lost to the Washington Capitals earlier on Friday night, the Golden Knights enter their contest against the Red Wings as the final unbeaten team in the NHL.
