Hockey fans, the wait is nearly over as the NHL season is quickly approaching and we couldn't be happier.
That said, because the NHL season is around the corner, that means summer is coming to an end, which is a good thing and a bad thing.
For starters, the cold is coming for Canadians and those that don't live somewhere that's hot all year round. On the other hand, summer hockey is over and that's something to be excited about.
Hockey is enjoyable to play in the summer, but even more so when the season starts and that fact holds true for both fans and players.
For example, Evgeni Malkin and Alexander Radulov can't wait for the season to start based on the latest picture Gino posted.
Radulov and Malkin have spending some time together on and off the ice this offseason along with Ilya Kovalchuk.
Of course, Malkin and Radulov aren't the only players that have expressed their excitement about summer hockey almost being over and the new season being a month away from starting.
Don't worry hockey fans, the next month will fly by and before you know it, we'll be watching NHL highlights each and every night.
Until then, though, summer hockey has proved it's very entertaining as far as highlights go.
