Matt Stajan was drafted 57th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs and made his NHL debut on April 5, 2003, against the Ottawa Senators. The Leafs ended up losing 3-1, but Stajan scored the only goal in the game for the first of his career.

While Stajan was just getting his first taste of the NHL, an 11-year-old Freddie Hamilton and soon-to-be 10-year-old Dougie Hamilton were most likely cheering him on from their home in Toronto, not knowing that one day they would all be teammates.

Last week, Stajan shared a fantastic photo for Throwback Thursday which featured him meeting his two teammates for the very first time alongside former Maple Leafs teammate Carlo Colaiacovo.

Weโ€™re not sure how Stajan came across this photo but weโ€™re sure glad that he did. Itโ€™s not the same as threatening a player for not signing an autograph for you and then playing against him in the NHL, but this is still one of the cooler things we have come across.
