Tuesday morning, the fight world woke up to the news that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather had reportedly agreed to financial terms for a fight.
For those that haven't been following along with the McGregor/Mayweather saga, the financial terms was the only obstacle standing in the way of the two finally fighting, and that obstacle is still there.
After the rumours circulated, Floyd took to Twitter to set the record straight, and it's clear that no deal for a fight's been made, yet.
Anyone feeling disappointed? That's the one word that can describe this saga thus far, although the trolling has been fun to see, and Conor continued to go after Floyd late Tuesday night.
Mayweather was quick to send a message to McGregor on Twitter, and it's one that might restore hope in fans that want to see these two legends fight.
As we've stated many times, it seems like both competitors really want this fight to happen, but the financial terms could be the one hurdle they might not get over.
