The Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather saga is an interesting for many reasons.

We've seen everything, from false facts and rumours to trash talk and lots of it.

While the only thing fans want to see at this point is the two warriors battle it out in the ring, especially after the report that financial terms were agreed on for a fight were exposed as being just rumours, we're sure they'll take the trash talk.

In an interview with GQ Style for a profile that will appear in the Spring 2017 issue, McGregor took aim and fired shot at shot Floyd's way, including some vicious fighting words when asked about potentially fighting him in a boxing ring:

“We’re talking about boxing. That’s it. But again, age waits for no man. He’s 40 years of age. He’s a little…he’s got a little head on him. Honestly, my fist is bigger than his head. I sleep people. I put people unconscious. I’m stating facts. If I hit that man, his head is gonna go into the bleachers. You understand that? If I crack that little head of his, it’s gonna go clean off his shoulders and up into the bleachers.”

McGregor acknowledged that everyone wants to see him and Floyd fight, but he also said he doesn't have a problem with fighting some of Floyd's recent opponents he couldn't knock out:

“I mean, that’s the one that everyone wants, that’s the one that makes the most sense. But I’ve no problem going and slapping the head off one of his opponents that he couldn’t finish. All he does is decisions. He can never stop them. So all I have to do is pick some schmuck out that he only could decision, bounce the left hand off his dome, sleep him, and then there you go: It’s already done.”

Obviously we don't know when (or if) the fight with Floyd will be, but it seems like McGregor is committed to a boxing bout being his next, judging by his words and his training.
