After spending his entire 19-year career with the San Jose Sharks, the 37-year-old Marleau will be suiting up for a new team for the first time in his NHL career, but it turns out it won’t be his first time rocking the Maple Leafs blue and white.

On Monday, Marleau’s wife, Christina, shared a photo of a young Patrick Marleau rocking his first Maple Leafs jersey along with a caption wondering if her mother-in-law still had the jersey.

He’s going to need a much larger jersey, but at least fans know the blue and white will look good on him.
