Before the players took the field for their first pre-game warm-up of the season, the Patriots’ scoreboard operator decided to have a little fun by starting the season with a jab at the Atlanta Falcons.

Whoever is in charge of the scoreboard at Gillette Stadium is clearly still thinking of his team’s incredible comeback in last year’s Super Bowl and doesn’t plan on letting the Falcons live it down anytime soon.

The best part about this entire troll job is the fact that they aren’t even playing the Falcons in the opener, but they will meet on October 22nd in New England so we expect 28-3 to be displayed on the board during the pre-game warm-ups that night.
