Taylor Hall is one of the main reasons the New Jersey Devils sit atop the Metropolitan Division with 12 points through their first seven games.

The soon-to-be 26-year-old winger is tied for first on the team with nine points and he’s managed to get on the scoresheet in five of the team’s seven games. While we’ve seen some improvements in his game over the past year since joining the Devils, we’ve also seen an improvement in Hall’s social media presence.

Earlier this week, one of Hall’s tweets to former teammate Jordan Eberle ended up going viral after the two former Oilers teammates exchanged some friendly shots on Twitter.

The former first overall draft pick was at it again on Friday afternoon, this time he decided to poke some fun at his teammate Nico Hischier, who scored his first two career goals on Thursday night.

Hall had a pretty good game himself, as he finished the night with four assists, including a helper on each of Hischier’s goals to earn him the player of the night jacket.

As for the 18-year-old rookie, he hasn’t responded to Hall’s tweet just yet, and he still has ‘New Jersey Devils Prospect’ in his Twitter bio.
