Columbus Blue Jackets rookie Zach Werenski’s season came to an end on Sunday night after he suffered a broken cheekbone.
However, the 19-year-old showed just how tough he is by returning to the game after suffering the injury and playing the rest of the game.
Werenski’s heart and dedication did not go unnoticed and he quickly gained a few more fans because he returned to the game and gave it all for his team.
A loyal Blue Jackets fan turned Werenski’s after-photo and turned it into a very fashionable shirt.
This fan’s incredible shirt did not go unnoticed by Werenski and the team, and he was hooked up with a brand new jersey.
Not only did this fan score himself a brand new Werenski jersey, but the Blue Jackets rookie signed it for him as well.
