It's Tuesday morning, and you know what that means fans of sports mascots (and sports), our weekly BarDown Mascot Power Rankings are here.

As we explained one week ago, the inaugural rankings were a mix of our favourite mascots and some that went viral.

This week, however, the ingredients in the secret recipe have changed a little and the sauce is extra spicy for a brand new, white hot edition of mascot power rankings.

From now on, mascots (like teams) will be ranked based on performance and a whole bunch of other things that we don't want to bore you with, so rather than waste more time, here are the only ranking that matter, the 'People's Rankings' if you will! Enjoy.

10. Sparky The Sun Devil, Arizona State Sun Devils (Up 75)

Herm Edwards wouldn't give the Sparky any respect, but we're putting some respect on the Sun Devil's name because Sparky deserves it.

9. The Tiger, Clemson Tigers (Up 35)

A precedent was set last week when we said winners move up, and The Tiger from Clemson won an ACC Championship and trolled Miami #Winning

8. Gnash, Nashville Predators (Down 4)

The cutest thing you'll see today

When cuteness levels exceed 100, you've got a spot in the top ten.  With all of the movement that occurred from last week to this week, Gnash is one of two mascots still in the top ten this week.

7. Blitz, Seattle Seahawks (Up 10)

NFL celebrations have been incredible this season, but Blitz is one of the few (maybe the only?) to be involved in a touchdown celebration.  Even though the touchdown didn't count, the celey was still unreal.

6. Wild Wing and Gulliver, Anaheim Ducks and San Diego Gulls (Up 133)

Wild Wing taking Gulliver under his wing and through a Rocky-like workout is why teamwork makes the dreamwork, and if the dream was getting into the top ten, then dream made.

5. The Raptor, Toronto Raptors (Down 2)

The Raptor is the other mascot that was in the top ten last week, and the Raptor remains thanks to his uncanny ability to be calm and cool around one of the biggest names in the world and a Canadian icon.

4. Rocky The Mountain Lion, Denver Nuggets (Up 400)

The Bulls weren't fazed by Darth Rocky on Star Wars night in Denver, but we're not ignoring the force.

3. Louie, St. Louis Blues (Up 88)

Navigating the social media realm and thriving in it is a big part of being a mascot, and Louie had one of our favourite tweets of the week that hockey players and fans everywhere can relate to.

2. Jazz Bear, Utah Jazz (Up 19)

Yes, Jazz Bear WYD??  We'll tell you what Jazz Bear was doing with the help of Amy Hoyt:

Now that's what being a mascot is all about, making the game memorable for the fans.

1. Slapshot, Washington Capitals (Up 23)

Slapshot gets all the credit for being the mastermind behind the 'Friends' intro video (mascot edition), but you have to tip your cap to every mascot involved in making such an awesome video.
