New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is one of the most storied quarterbacks in NFL history, and fans will be provided with an in-depth look at his life in the near future.

Brady teamed up with director Gotham Chopra to produce a series called Tom vs. Time that will air on Facebook. On Monday afternoon, a trailer for the series was released that further emphasized his passion and dedication to the game of football.

The series will specifically focus on Brady’s 2017 season both on and off the field. The New York Times shared their own preview that revealed Brady obsessively watches past losses from a decade ago.

The following is an excerpt from the New York Times:

“I could literally watch football all day,” Brady says. “I could go four or five hours without getting up from this chair.” He begins watching plays from what might be the most difficult loss of his career, the Giants’ victory over the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2008, New England’s only loss that season.”

The news of the new series comes at an awkward time for the Patriots. The franchise has been the NFL’s center of attention after a ESPN report provided negative details about the quarterback’s deteriorating relationship with head coach Bill Belichick, and controversial friendship with his Business partner Alex Geurrero. Perhaps Tom vs. Time will provide further information on both.

Chopra is no stranger to working with big athletes, as he directed Kobe Bryant’s documentary Muse. From the looks of the trailer, this is must-watch content and a golden opportunity to learn more about the GOAT.

It’s not very often a 5-time Super Bowl champ allows this kind of access.
