Canada and the United States added another chapter to their historic rivalry on the ice during the 2018 Winter Olympics.  This time around, though, USA came out on top and Canada settled for silver in an absolute thriller of a gold medal game.

There were a number of players that became household names after that gold medal victory, one of which being 20-year-old goaltender Maddie Rooney.

Now an Olympic gold medalist, Rooney also plays for the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs and after backstopping her country to gold, she decided to send out a tweet to Justin Bieber in the hopes of playing in net for one of his beer league games.

Rooney is a big Bieber fan and an extremely talented goalie, so we can't imagine a reason why Bieber wouldn't take her up on her offer.

As of right now, though, the Canadian star hasn't responded to the offer, but make no mistake about it, he does play hockey as often as he can, so if he does respond, the next video we see could be of him and Rooney dominating.
