The San Antonio Rampage are one of the hottest teams in the AHL right now. Through their first eight games of the season, the Rampage own a 6-2 record and sit near the top of the Western Conference standings.

Since the team’s last home game was on October 28 and their next five games are on the road, the guys made sure to take in the Halloween festivities before departing for their five-game road trip that will include stops in Iowa, Grand Rapids and Rockford.

Avalanche prospects Brendan Ranford, Spencer Martin and others recently took on the Thirteenth Floor, the longest and largest haunted attraction in San Antonio, and the guys managed to hold their own for most of it despite not being fans of scary things.

All the surprises and loud noises probably aren’t as intimidating when you have a light on following your every move, but the guys still got spooked plenty of times throughout the tour.

The Colorado Avalanche prospects aren’t the only athletes who checked out a haunted house this Halloween. New Orleans Pelicans big men Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins recently tested out a haunted house in Louisiana and had a tough time staying as calm as the Rampage players.
