Bill Belichick has never been afraid to totally suck the energy right out of a room. While exciting things are happening all over the place with his football team – the most successful football team of all-time, we may add – he has no desire to contribute to the drama or enthusiasm and routinely makes a reporter’s job tough.

He’s all work, no play, all day.

Sometimes he makes journalism even tougher than usual when he decides that one of their juicy storylines won’t be something that he talks about. You may remember the “We’re on to Cincinnati” presser after the Pats suffered a bad defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs.

After making waves by signing the headache that is Antonio Brown, only to subsequently find out about more off-field issues in the wide receiver’s life, Belichick certainly wasn’t in the mood to gossip. As more and more AB questions came up, he made it clear that he did NOT want to talk about it.

Eventually he just took matters into his own hands and just simply left the presser.

Oof… tough being a reporter in Belichick’s bullpen sometimes!
