Bianca Andreescu is playing like she’s never going to lose ever again and Canadian tennis fans are all for it.

Early Tuesday morning, the 19-year-old defeated Taylor Townsend, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2, to advance to the quarterfinals at the US Open and plenty of fans stayed up late to watch Andreescu become the first Canadian to reach the US Open quarterfinal since 1992.

Since Andreescu is the only Canadian left in the tournament, eyes across Canada were on her as she put together a dominant performance under the bright lights and they’re excited to see what’s coming next.

The entire country is behind Andreescu right now and the love for her across the country only continues to grow with each passing day.

The Mississauga, Ontario native will be back on the court on either Tuesday or Wednesday when she takes on Elise Mertens.
