If you live in the city of Toronto, it was hard to think about anything else on Monday other than the tragedy that occurred downtown as a white van drove on the sidewalks of the city and killed at least 10 people.

As soon as what occurred went viral, athletes and teams came together to share their thoughts and support with the city of Toronto.  One of those athletes was Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins and here's what he had to say after Game 6 against the Leafs:

Marchand and other members of the Bruins that have been with the team since 2013 know first hand how important the support from other cities is in times like this.

On April 15th of 2013, the Boston Marathon bombings occurred and the sports world came together at that time to support the city of Boston.

Now Marchand and the rest of the sports world are coming together to support Toronto and in tragic times like this, having that support is so important.
