Brad Marchand had a great response to whether he thinks he'll be a Hall of Famer

While being in the Hall of Fame is an incredibly prestigious honour, we imagine it’s one that players try not to think a whole lot about while they’re still active in their respective sports. 

After all, who needs the added pressure of wanting to be immortalized in sports history when you’re just trying to win one game at a time? 

So when Brad Marchand - whose wicked talent is sometimes overshadowed by his infamous antics - was asked about the Hall of Fame, he was quick to shut it down. 

Quick to shut it down, but also quick to make the whole locker room laugh with a comment about captain Zdeno Chara. 

Fair enough, Chara. 

We would comply with Marchand’s demands, too. We’re not really trying to get licked. 

Nevertheless, Marchand has put up 32 points in 19 games played so far this season, and quietly reached 100 points last year in the regular season after recording 85 in the two years prior to that. 

Brad - we know you can’t say you think you’ll be a Hall of Famer, but us and Chara do, and we’re not just saying that so you don’t come after us.
