Buffalo Bandits goalie Anthony Cosmo has been playing professional lacrosse for a long time. The Mississauga, Ontario native has been playing in the National Lacrosse League since 2001, and has played for four different teams during that time.

Cosmo started his career as a backup goalie on the Toronto Rock, but truly made a name for himself during his time with the San Jose Stealth (now defunct). Now, 39-years-old, Cosmo is nearing the end of his playing career, but he’s making sure to go out in style. Here’s his mask for this year’s NLL season, courtesy of David Arrigo.

Cosmo’s mask is a fantastic tribute to some NLL legends, including players he looked up to as a kid and Bandits legends, as well as the Bandits fans.

David Arrigo has designed masks for Carey Price, Brian Elliott, Mike Smith, and many other professional goalies and is truly an incredible artist.
