One thing that the Buffalo is known for is the chicken wing.

For four days in June, the city’s Triple-A baseball team will change its name from the ‘Buffalo Bisons’ to the ‘Buffalo Wings’, and will rock solid BBQ-red tops that include creamy bleu cheese numbering on the back.

Like most Minor League Baseball teams do when they do these fun temporary name changes, the team is selling this limited edition merchandise to their fans and are delivering it to them in an incredible way.

Just like you would if you ordered an order of chicken wings, the merchandise arrives at your door in a special pizza box designed specifically for the ‘Wings’.

They’re not the only team to do this type of thing. The Rochester Red Wings did something similar when they changed their name to the Rochester Plates as they sent fans their merchandise wrapped in tinfoil on a paper plate.

Minor League Baseball teams are simply the best when it comes to theme nights.
