The US adaptation of The Office was an instant hit across North America as it aired for nine seasons from 2005-2013, seven years longer than the original British version. One person who contributed to the success of the show was Steve Carell, who played the role of Michael Scott.

Although the show has been off the air for five years, it still has a loyal following. With that being said, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Class-A affiliate the Kane County Cougars are hosting their first ever theme night dedicated to Carell’s character and the show as a whole.

The Cougars will host The Office Night on Thursday, July 26, when they play the Beloit Snappers and the first 1,500 fans to go through the gates will go home with a Michael Scott bobblehead, courtesy of Melrose Pyrotechnics. Aside from the awesome giveaway item, the team also plans on showing clips from the show on the videoboard throughout the night, while there will also be The Office themed games taking place on the field.
