The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants thousands of wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions on a yearly basis. Each wish is different, but they always manage to make it work even if the task might seem impossible to most people.

On Tuesday, Edmonton Oilers goalie Cam Talbot helped make young fan Gage Foster’s dream come true through Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta, which included a meet and greet and a skate with the Oilers’ goalie.

The young fan and his family got to take the ice with Talbot on Tuesday afternoon and Gage even got a chance to test out the Oilers’ netminder.

It turns out Gage is actually member of Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario, but his wish was to skate with his favourite goalie Cam Talbot and the foundation made it possible by sending him to Edmonton to work out with him.
