The Vancouver Canucks are much closer to the bottom of the NHL’s standings than they are to a playoff spot, but Thursday night’s game is a massive one for Canucks fans as Daniel and Henrik Sedin will both be playing their final NHL game in the city of Vancouver.

Canucks fans haven’t had much time to prepare for this moment as the twins made the announcement out of the blue with less than a handful of games left on the schedule, but that didn’t stop them from showing up to the arena hours ahead of Thursday’s tilt with the Arizona Coyotes to show some love for two of the greatest players in the franchise’s history.

It didn’t take very long for fans to fill up the board, as we’re still a few hours away from puck drop and there’s barely any space left for any lengthy messages.

It’s definitely going to be an emotional night in Vancouver on Thursday so don’t expect any dry eyes inside the building or throughout the province.
